
Feb. 10, 2026 – The developer will be removing trees in February 2026 in two stages. Details of the approved tree removals are in the 2025 Arborist Report and Tree Inventory and Preservation Plan.
The two woodlots located on the Evergreen property will be conserved. The drawings in the Tree Inventory and Preservation Plan only show the trees located outside the woodlots.

City Council adopted a plan for this development in 2018. On July 19, 2024, the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) approved zoning regulations and a draft plan of subdivision for the Evergreen Community. OLT file number OLT-22-003001
Next steps: Evergreen Community Ltd. is working on a detailed design to meet the conditions of approval required by the City, Halton Region, Conservation Halton and local utilities. The detailed design process usually lasts a couple years and must be completed before construction can begin.
