The City of Burlington is committed to being an inclusive community that values diversity. The Inclusivity Advisory Committee advises Council on how to bring an inclusive lens to service and program delivery in Burlington.
The Inclusivity Advisory Committee will:
- Provide advice and insights to Council and staff on the City's policies, services and programs about to inclusivity
- Develop an annual work plan including a communications plan and budget to meet the mandate of the committee
- Participate in meetings and trainings to keep current about the City's policies that may impact the committee
The committee reports to Council through the Committee of the Whole.
