The City of Burlington's Animal Shelter accepts donations to its Promoting Animal Welfare (PAW) fund. Your donations help us maintain the facilities and services necessary to provide a caring temporary home for animals in need.

Donations can include money or gifts, such as:
- Carriers
- Collars
- Fabric softener
- Leashes
- Liquid laundry detergent
- Paper towels and newspaper to line cages (no fliers please)
- Science Diet canned cat and dog food
- Toys
- Treats
Dog licences help our shelter
We provide food, care and a temporary home for many stray, sick, injured and orphaned domestic and wild animals in the Burlington community each year. Unclaimed domestic animals are put up for adoption and wild animals are brought to a rehabilitation centre when possible. Revenue from dog licence registrations helps to provide these services and maintains our facilities and programs.
