For Summer 2026, camps run from June 29 to September 4. Some sites and locations may differ in duration based on location and staff availability. There will be no program Wednesday, July 1, and Monday, Aug. 3. Programs run Monday to Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Some locations will offer extended hours with programs running Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. NEW for Summer 2026 a half-day (morning OR afternoon) is available for 4- and 5-year-olds. |

Supervision ratios |

Staff are allocated to program locations based on the type of program and the program capacity:
To help maintain safety, supervision and the flow of activities, programs will typically divide participants into small groups. Groups are comprised of at least two staff with the corresponding number of participants based on the above ratios. For programs that partake in day trips, additional staff will be allocated on these days to support with safety and supervision while at the off-site locations. Please note that if you are registering a participant in a “with Disabilities” program, they will be integrated with all participants in the program. One on one support is not available, however you can contact staff if you would like to send your participant with their own support person (camps@burlington.ca). |

To support the success, safety and inclusion of all programs and participants, it is important that all campers are ‘group ready. City of Burlington camps are fast-paced with a variety of activities and settings such as gyms, arenas and playgrounds. Staff to participant ratios will vary depending on the program you register for (see below for ratio information). Before registering for camps, consider if the participant is able to do the following either independently or with extra support:

Take a look at where different summer camps are located and what types of programs are offered at each location. Please note that locations may be subject to change. Staff will reach out to registered participants to inform of changes to location or program. Locations with an asterisk are air conditioned. All other sites will use cooling stations and as not all areas of the facility may have air conditioning.
