Financial Statements

The City of Burlington's consolidated financial statements reflect the City's assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses.

We post consolidated statements each year, as required by legislation under the Municipal Act, which states:

"A municipality shall, for each fiscal year, prepare annual financial statements for the municipality in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles for local governments as recommended, from time to time, by the Public Sector Accounting Board of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants."

City of Burlington Trust Funds Statements

View the financial statements of the City's trust funds, with revenue provided by donations. We use trust funds to segregate funds that we have collected under specific terms of an agreement or statute.
