Lap swimming is an excellent form of exercise for swimmers of all skill levels. Check out our lap swim programs and learn how to register.
Consider purchasing one of our recreation passes for best value.
To help keep everyone safe and comfortable, lap swims and fun swims have separate admission fees and capacity limits. Each program includes a different coloured wristband with their admission fee.
If you would like to attend both programs, you can purchase admission for both and must wear both wristbands so staff can easily see that you have access to both activities.
Why is there a minimum age requirement of 11? |
|
For safety reasons, a minimum age of 11 is in place for our lap swims. Please connect with liveandplay@burlington.ca or speak with an Aquatic Supervisor if you have any questions or exceptions. |
Is coaching permitted during lap swims? |
|
Coaching, structured instruction, or any form of formal training is not permitted during drop-in or reserved recreational programs. While casual tips or friendly advice are allowed, they must remain informal and be consistent with the program’s recreational purpose and atmosphere. Activities that resemble ongoing instruction or organized training may be subject to intervention. City staff reserve the right to assess and take appropriate action if any activity compromises participant safety, enjoyment, or the intended use of the program. |
How many metres are each pool for lap swimming? |
