A Neighbourhood Connector is a resident who makes connections between neighbours and strives to make it easier for neighbours to connect, share strategies and build relationships.
What is the role of a Neighbourhood Connector?
Help foster neighbour to neighbour connections & build relationships between residents in a neighbourhood.
Inform and engage your neighbours about important topics and act as a contact person.
Help enhance the quality of life in your neighbourhood by promoting & supporting neighbourhood initiatives.
Host at least one neighbourhood event annually and support other gatherings in your neighbourhood.
Promote the Neighbourhood Connector program and invite others to join and grow the network.
Represent your neighbourhood in City-led engagements and initiatives and collaborate with City staff.
Attend network meet-ups to connect, share ideas, and access training and resources. Meet-ups will be supported by City staff.
