The City of Burlington participates in Halton Region's Registered Charity Rebates Program. Eligible registered charities occupying commercial or industrial properties can apply for a property tax rebate of 40 per cent.

How to apply
To apply, download and complete our Registered Charities Application Form for Property Tax Rebate. Submit your completed form to the City by email at propertytax@burlington.ca, by fax at 905-335-7877, or by mail to:

There is no cost to apply.
Deadline
We must receive your application by the last day of February of the following taxation year for which you are making the application.
