The Council Remuneration Review Working Group reviews the remuneration and benefits to be paid to Council members for the 2022 to 2026 term of office. This practice removes politics from discussions by having an objective third party review remuneration and expenses.
The working group does not have any decision-making capacity or delegated authority, except to direct staff to assist with administrative support, including the gathering of information and resource materials to assist the group with its review.
