
A Working Group comprised of members of the public was selected to review and make recommendations on the compensation, benefits, and all applicable expenses of elected officials. Supported by City staff from Human Resources and Finance, the Working Group served as a voice that represents the City of Burlington’s constituents to ensure a fair and equitable review of Council Remuneration for the 2026 to 2030 term of office.
The Group appointed remained active until Council considered the recommendations in the Working Group's final report LLS-54-25 (by December 2025) at the Council meeting on Dec. 9, 2025.
