The City of Burlington is developing an Integrated Mobility Plan to address our quickly growing urban areas and their transportation needs. Instead of building more roads, which is unsustainable, our Integrated Mobility Plan will focus on:
- Making it easier to travel to surrounding regions
- Making getting around Burlington safer and more accessible for cyclists and pedestrians
- Offering fast, frequent and reliable transit
- Providing a wide range of options for getting around no matter what your age, means or ability, including walking, cycling, public transit and vehicles
- Using compact modes of travel like buses, bicycles and walking for more efficient transportation
