Searching for a hidden gem in the city? The Beachway has so much to offer! With 6.8 acres of park space, two kilometers of lakeside trails, white sandy beaches, an outdoor pavilion, a playground, and a seasonal concession, there’s plenty to enjoy and explore.
You can enjoy the natural lakefront beach at Beachway Park at 1100 Lakeshore Rd. by relaxing in the sun, building sandcastles or cooling off in the water.
A signature destination and attraction in Spencer Smith Park at 1400 Lakeshore Rd., the Brant Street Pier extends 137 m over Lake Ontario, providing breathtaking views of the lake and Burlington's shoreline. The pier is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Discovery Landing, located at 1340 Lakeshore Rd., is our 14,200 square foot landmark building that faces out onto the lake, offering a prime location for storm and weather watching. Discovery Landing is also home to Spencer's on the Waterfront.
Spencer Smith Park offers a lovely promenade with breathtaking views of the lake, beach, and Skyway Bridge. It’s also the hub for many of Burlington’s signature festivals and events. Whether you’re walking, cycling, or rollerblading along the Waterfront Trail, the views from the pier are truly remarkable. Located at 1400 Lakeshore Rd., the park is home to the Brant Street Pier and Rotary Centennial Pond, where you can skate in the winter or sail model sailboats in the summer. Enjoy a peaceful stroll, take in the scenic lake views, or spend a fun afternoon with your family!
