Community Hubs are spaces where Burlington residents, neighbours, and non-profit organizations can gather for free to host community-oriented programs, activities, clubs, volunteer training, meetings, or events.
The Orchard Neighbourhood Hub offers similar no-charge bookings for free neighbourhood-led initiatives and also allows for one-time paid rentals for private events by Orchard residents.
We are making changes to the Community Hub program:
Requests for space can currently be made until June 2025. Starting in September 2024, the Orchard Hub will become a Neighbourhood Hub, with changes to who can book the space. See below for more details. Haber Hub and Appleby Hub will remain Community Hubs and eligibility to book remains the same.
Community Hubs are spaces for the community to gather and engage. No-charge bookings are provided to Burlington residents, neighbours and non-profit organizations (that serve Burlington) providing free programs, activities, clubs, volunteer training, meetings, or events that are for the community.
Residents interested in booking the Appleby or Haber Hubs are encouraged to submit their request through the application form with a short summary of the details for intended use. Groups looking to learn more about the spaces should email our team.
