If you are interested in filming in the City of Burlington please review our Filming Policy. It provides a framework for all filming in Burlington and ensures the safety and comfort of residents, businesses and motorists during shooting.
A Facility Rental Contract is required for all film activities that will take place in Burlington on municipal owned property, including on roadways, inside facilities or outdoor locations.
Current affairs, press conferences, news casts, street interviews or private video footage by individuals for friends/family purposes are excluded, a Contract is not required for these activities.
Plan accordingly based on the minimum required lead times shown below. Minimum required lead time refers to the minimum number of business days (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) before any set up begins, including parking needs, set-up or film activity (whichever comes first).
Providing extra lead time beyond the minimum requirements, if possible, allows us to better collaborate with internal partners to coordinate your request. Late requests will be considered but we cannot guarantee that late requests can be accommodated.

Please fill out our application form and you will be required to upload a detailed site map and basecamp/parking/additional areas maps. We will provide further details and instructions once we review your application. All applications will be required to pay the film application fee if they are conditionally approved.
