You can invite the Mayor to attend or speak at a public meeting or event in the City of Burlington. You can also request the Mayor to provide a pre-recorded message for an event.
Mayor's availability
The Mayor's calendar is often booked up to eight weeks in advance. Because of this, not all invitation requests can be accommodated, but we will always try out best.
Other services
If the Mayor is unavailable to attend your event, you may also wish to request other services for your event, such as a:
- Congratulatory letter
- Flag raising
- Proclamation
