Calling all fifth graders in the City of Burlington, Get active with our Active5 Pass!

The City of Burlington's Active5 Pass gives Grade 5 students free access to drop-in recreation activities including:

Open gym time
Skating
Recreational Swimming

How to Get your Active5 pass

Learn how Grade 5 students can get an Active5 Pass and access free drop-in recreation activities.

Criteria for eligibility

Students must be in grade five during the 2025-2026 school year.
Students must be a Burlington resident or attend school in Burlington.

Proof of eligibility

Parents or guardians must confirm that the students are in grade 5 and are attending schools in Burlington by confirming the prompt when logged into their Live & Play account

Confirm age and school attendance

Once logged into Live and Play account
Go to the membership tab and select Active5 pass
Answer the prompt to confirm age and school in attendance

Use your pass to attend recreation programs

Students can reserve their spot seven days ahead by booking online
Please check in with customer service or program staff when you arrive for the program.
Walk-ins are welcome if capacity remains.
Pass does not guarantee entry, admission is based on available capacity

Terms of Use

Pass is valid from Sept. 1, 2025 to Aug. 31, 2026.
Pass is not transferable.
Where a program admittance requires adult participation or supervision, pass is only valid for youth admission.
No cash value.
City of Burlington Code of Conduct apply.
Not valid for Lap Swimming and Shinny admission.
