
The Burlington Summer Music Parade will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, and the Lakeshore Music and Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday June 21, 2026. Both events are in downtown Burlington. To ensure public safety, road closures and traffic restrictions will be in place as outlined below.
Closure times and access points are estimated and may be adjusted at the discretion of police on site.
Streets will re-open as soon as possible after the event. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed for emergency services access.
Please note: Access will be temporarily restricted as directed by Halton Regional Police Service to ensure safety for the parade and its spectators and participants.

Please be prepared for delays and plan accordingly.
For the most unrestricted vehicle access during the race, please park on a side street outside of the closure so that you may exit the area and avoid the road closure entirely.
This event has road closures for pedestrian access and vehicle use will therefore be restricted and managed under the supervision of the Halton Regional Police Service. Emergency vehicle and personnel access is maintained at all times during road closures.
Temporary Parking restrictions will be posted to ensure clearance for emergency vehicle access and traffic flow. All parking restrictions will be enforced.
During the event, Route 2 and Route 4 will be affected.
