The City of Burlington works closely with media outlets to support accurate and timely public sharing of City policies, programs, services, initiatives, and decisions. We develop and maintain professional relationships with media that serve to inform our community of City news and priorities.
The City’s Communications team is the contact for journalists seeking City materials, information, and expertise. Communications is available at communications@burlington.ca Monday to Friday from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and weekends and holidays for urgent inquiries only.
We understand and respect that journalists often work to tight deadlines and aim to respond to most queries within 48 hours.
Requests for large volumes of detailed or technical data and information subject to legal review and privacy legislation may take longer to compile.
