The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is closing two lanes of the QEW Niagara Bound on:
Friday, June 20 at 10 p.m. to
Monday, June 23 at 5 a.m.
All ramps from the Eastport Drive Collector to the Skyway Bridge will be closed.
Northshore Boulevard Interchange will remain open.
Eastport Drive Collector Lanes and Eastport Drive can be used as a detour/alternate route.
Two lanes of traffic will be open on the QEW Niagara Bound at all times.
This closure may affect Burlington Transit service. Be prepared for significant transit delays. Please check MyRide or Google maps for real time bus schedule and arrival information.

Update, Feb. 16, 5 p.m.:
Recreational facilities will be opening Monday, Feb. 17 at 9 a.m. Drop-in recreation programs will resume and facilities will be open for scheduled rentals.
The Burlington Rotary Centennial Pond will open tomorrow, weather and ice conditions permitting. Residents are encouraged to call the ice conditions hotline at 905-335-7738, ext. 8587 before leaving to make sure the Pond is open.

In anticipation of significant snowfall and to ensure the safety of residents and staff, the City of Burlington’s recreational facilities will be closed on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025. All recreation programs and rentals have been cancelled.

UPDATE, Dec. 17: As Canada Post operations resume, please be advised mail to and from the City, including Halton Court Services, may be impacted by Canada Post processing and delivery delays into January 2025.
