The annual Moon in June Run and Burlington Cruisin’ Car Show will take place in downtown Burlington on Saturday, June 6, 2026. To meet the needs of the events and ensure public safety, road closures and traffic restrictions will be in place as outlined below.
The Burlington Cruisin’ Car Show will happen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Moon in June will happen from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Closure times and access points are estimated and may be adjusted at the discretion of police on site.
Streets will re-open as soon as possible after the events. Vehicles parked illegally in the event areas will be tagged or towed for emergency services access. Access may also be temporarily restricted as directed by Halton Regional Police Service to ensure safety.

Closures will be staggered along the route and reopened as runners have all passed or after the car show has ended.
Please be prepared for delays and plan accordingly.
For the most unrestricted vehicle access during the race, please park on a side street outside of the closure so that you may exit the area and avoid the road closure entirely.
This event has road closures for pedestrian access and vehicle use will therefore be restricted and managed under the supervision of the Halton Regional Police Service. Emergency vehicle and personnel access is maintained at all times during road closures.
Temporary Parking restrictions will be posted to ensure clearance for emergency vehicle access and traffic flow. All parking restrictions will be enforced.
Bus route detours in effect for Routes 2, 4, and 10.
