Back to SearchTAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the City of Burlington is providing this Notice of Intention to Remove a Holding (H) Symbol pursuant to Section 36(4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, for lands municipally known as 460 Cumberland Ave. (formerly 454, 462 Cumberland Ave. & 3255, 3259, 3265 New St.)
Council of the Corporation of the City of Burlington intends to pass the amending bylaw (Bylaw No. 2020.XXX) at the Council Meeting on Oct. 15, 2024.
The proposed amending zoning bylaw would amend Zoning Bylaw 2020 for the property located at 460 Cumberland Ave. (formerly 454, 462 Cumberland Ave. & 3255, 3259, 3265 New St.) by removing the Holding (‘H’) Symbol prefix to permit the underlying High Density Residential Exception (‘RH1-530’) Zone category to take effect. The applicant intends to develop a seven-storey retirement building consisting of 124 suites.
