The City of Burlington is replacing the playground and removing the ball diamond at Lowville Park, located at 6207 Lowville Park Rd.

Project scope
Construction at Lowville Park ball diamond and playground will include:
- Removal of ball diamond and restoration with sod and mulch path
- Removal of existing playground equipment and swings
- Replacement of playground equipment and swings
- Installation of rubber playground safety surfacing
- Installation of new drainage system at playground area
- Removal of asphalt at playground area and replace with concrete paving
- Refreshed site furnishings at playground area
To ensure safety during construction, the playground and ball diamond areas will be closed and fenced off. Continued access to the surrounding park amenities will be maintained during construction. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during construction to ensure a safe environment for all.

Project schedule
Construction is expected to begin, weather permitting, in July and last approximately 10 weeks. (Please note: The completion date may be affected by weather, or by production and service delays in the construction industry).
