Notice is hereby given that the City of Burlington intends to designate this property under section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act.
Description of Property
The property at 461 Elizabeth St. is known as the Knox Presbyterian Church and contains a mid-19th century place of worship with later 19th century and 20th century alterations and additions. The property is located on the east side of Elizabeth Street, at the northeast corner of the intersection of Elizabeth Street and James Street.

The property at 461 Elizabeth St. is representative of the evolution of places of worship over the course of the mid-19th to late 20th centuries. The structure is comprised of five main components:

Notice of Objection
