
Macaulay Shiomi Howson Ltd. (MSH) on behalf of Millcroft Greens Corporation and 1000835226 Ontario Inc. has made an application to amend the Official Plan and apply for a Draft Plan of Subdivision for the properties located at 2155 Country Club Dr., 4135 Millcroft Park Dr. and 4291 Couples Cres. The File Reference Numbers are 505-11/26 and 510-02/26.
The applications propose to reconfigure the remaining golf course lands to create six areas of developable land. These areas are proposed to be further subdivided to accommodate the development of 138 residential lots, including 73 single detached homes and 65 townhouse units, and blocks for landscaped area, open space, private road, natural areas and stormwater management.
The applicants have also submitted a request to the Province for a Minister's Zoning Order, which can be viewed at ero.ontario.ca/notice/026-0551.

The City of Burlington Official Plan 1997 and 2020, as amended, designates the subject lands as ‘Major Parks and Open Space’ which permits municipal parks and related community facilities, golf courses and related facilities, and outdoor recreation uses. The new Official Plan also designates the subject lands as ‘City’s Natural Heritage System’.
The lands are zoned as ‘Open Space 1’ (O1), which permits municipal parks, public and private open space, golf courses and associated uses, cultural heritage resources, and stormwater management and erosion control facilities. Residential uses are not permitted.
The applicant is proposing to amend the Official Plan (1997) to redesignate the lands to ‘Residential-Medium Density’ and by adding a site specific policy at the end of Part III, Land Use Policies - Urban Planning Area, Section 2.0 Residential Areas, Section 2.2.3 Site Specific Policies.
The applicant is proposing to amend the Official Plan (2020) to redesignate the lands to “Low-Rise Neighbourhoods II” and adding a site specific policy at the end of Section 8.3 Residential Neighbourhood Areas, Section 8.3.4 Low-Rise Neighbourhoods II, Section 8.3.4(2), Site Specific Policies, and changing policy 8.4.2(2) d) in Section 8.4.2 Major Parks and Open Space Designation.
