Mayor-Elect, Marianne Meed Ward
“I’ve been honoured to lead a council team that has delivered on your priorities – and we did so while supporting our residents and businesses through an unprecedented global pandemic and two-year State of Emergency. Your Burlington City Council is looking forward to continuing to work hard on your behalf. It takes all of us working together – council, staff, community and government partners – to get things done. I invite the community to join in the celebration as we usher in a new term of Council.”
Kevin Arjoon, City Clerk
“I encourage members of the community to join in the public reception and first inaugural Council meeting where your newly elected Council will be officially sworn into office. The event will include the swearing in of Members of Council, an inaugural address from the Mayor-elect and local entertainment throughout. All are welcomed.”
