Burlington City Council passed Bylaw 2020.484 to amend Bylaw 2020, as amended, on Aug. 7, 2024, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, 1990, as amended. File number: 520-04/24 (PL-64-24)
Bylaw 2020.484 rezones land at 1393 Graham’s Lane for the purpose of permitting the development of a public park, one building with a height of 17 storeys containing residential and non-residential uses, one multi-unit residential building with a maximum height of 21 storeys, and a possible additional multi-unit residential building with a maximum height of 12 storeys (maximum heights include rooftop mechanical penthouse and amenity area).
Public consultation on the proposed zoning bylaw amendment occurred through a Statutory Public Meeting held on Aug. 7, 2024, at a Special Council meeting. With respect to an Official Plan Amendment, Subsection 17(34) of the Planning Act

Date of notice: Aug. 15, 2024
Last date of appeal: Sept. 4, 2024
A decision was made on the date noted above to approve Amendment No. 150 to the Official Plan of the City of Burlington.
Purpose and effect of the amendment
The purpose of this Amendment is to add a site specific policy to the lands at 2362 Fairview St to “Mixed Use Corridor – General” to permit a 13-storey, mixed-use building on the subject lands with a Floor Area Ratio of 4.1:1.
Public consultation was conducted between May 10, 2024 and Aug. 7, 2024. As a result of public consultation, the City received six comments and four delegations at the Statutory Public meeting held on Aug. 7, 2024. Comments received were considered as part of Council’s decision-making process.

Burlington City Council passed Bylaw 2020.482 to amend Bylaw 2020, as amended, on Aug. 7, 2024, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, 1990, as amended. File number: 520-07/24 (PL-55-24)
Bylaw 2020.482 rezones land at 484 Plains Rd East to permit a unit redistribution within a nine-storey mixed use building and stacked townhouse blocks as well as technical modifications.
Public consultation on the proposed zoning bylaw amendment occurred through a Statutory Public Meeting held on Aug. 7, 2024, at a Special Council meeting. Notice of the Statutory Public Meeting was mailed to tenants and owners within 120m of the subject land on July 4, 2024, and published in the Hamilton Spectator on July 5, 2024. The City of Burlington is hosting its fourth annual Food for Feedback event on Saturday, Sept. 14, between noon and 4 p.m. at Central Park (2299 New St.). Residents can come to enjoy a free meal in exchange for sharing their thoughts on City projects. City staff, advisory committees, Mayor Marianne Meed Ward and members of Council will also be in attendance to listen to resident feedback.
The free drop-in event features 35 booths and five food trucks. There is a special area called the 'Kidz Zone' where children can have fun while family members provide feedback on City projects.
Feedback collected at the event will help the City continue to improve services and initiatives.
Date and LocationResidents are welcome to attend Food for Feedback on Saturday, Sept. 14, between noon and 4 p.m. at Central Park, 2299 New St.
If it rains, the event will move to the Burlington Senior's Centre.
