Bromley Road Area Minor Reconstruction

The City of Burlington and Halton Region will be continuing improvements in the Bromley Road area in 2024, 2025 and 2026. Halton Region will be replacing the existing watermain, wastewater main and services. City work includes the construction of new sidewalk, replacement of existing curb, sidewalk, roadway asphalt, street lighting upgrades on the streets per the location map.

Local Road Resurfacing - 2024

The City of Burlington will be resurfacing various roadways throughout the city. This work will include removing and replacing the top layer of asphalt pavement, spot curb replacement, and the updating of intersection sidewalk and pavement markings. 

During this time, traffic will be restricted to local traffic only. Every effort will be made to keep disruptions to a minimum. For everyone’s safety, please exercise caution and obey all construction signage.

Stormwater Management Pond – East of Turnberry Road

The City of Burlington is doing maintenance restoration works at the stormwater management pond between Turnberry Road and Appleby Line as shown in the location map. Sediment removal will be completed as part of a regular maintenance program, along with repair work where needed. The proposed works will be contained within City owned property.
