The City of Burlington is renewing the playground at Peart Park (1410 Colonsay Dr.) in Spring-Summer 2023.
Project scopeThe proposed improvements include:
The park will stay open during construction, however, there could be some minor inconveniences due to construction activity. The City of Burlington is renewing the hill slide area at Forestvale Park playground (1076 Forestvale Dr.) in Spring-Summer 2023. The playground will not be replaced at this time.

The full playground and slide area will be closed during construction, and although the remainder of the park will stay open, there could be some minor inconveniences due to construction activity. The playground and slide area will be closed and fenced off with signs posted until final safety inspection is complete. Thank you in advance for your cooperation during construction.
Please note that the Canada Post community mailbox located in front of the playground area will also be temporarily moved a short distance away from the construction access.

The City of Burlington and Halton Region will be continuing improvements in the Autumn Hill Crescent area and on Palmer Drive in 2022 and 2023.
This will include curb, sidewalk, and asphalt replacement, street lighting upgrades (City of Burlington), and full watermain and water service replacement (Region of Halton) on the streets per the map below. Please note that A Cosmos Concrete & Paving Ltd. is the only driveway paving company hired by the general contractor King Paving & Construction Ltd. for this project. There is no other driveway paving company associated with this project.

The City of Burlington, through their consultant Valdor Engineering Inc., is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to address erosion concerns in the section of Falcon Creek, between the CN Railroad and Dorset Avenue in the City of Burlington.
The Study will be carried out under Schedule “B” in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA), Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for Municipal Projects. The study process includes public and stakeholder consultation and the identification of measures to mitigate adverse impacts.
Public InteractionThe Project Team invites public input and comments and will incorporate them into the planning and design of this project. A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held as part of the process to provide an opportunity for the public to review and comment on the study findings. Notice of the PIC will be provided to the public and agencies as the study progresses.
