The City of Burlington is renewing the playground at Longmoor Park (4501 Longmoor Dr.,) in Summer 2022.
The proposed improvements include:
Construction schedule and playground area closure:
Construction of the playground begins in late June and total completion is anticipated to be October, weather pending. The bulk of the site works (removals of old play equipment, installation of concrete curbing and pathway connections) will take place in July. The new play equipment installation will take place in October.
The park will remain open during construction, however, there will be some minor inconveniences...

Starts the week of August 15 for approximately 4 months
The City of Burlington is replacing the west Lowville Park pedestrian bridge, located at the end of Lowville Park Road. The construction is planned to start the week of August 15 and will continue for approximately 4 months.
The work will include:
The new bridge will be a steel truss structure, similar to the existing centre and east bridges in Lowville Park. The bridge and surrounding construction zone will be closed to the public for safety purposes during the construction period. The centre and east bridges and all other areas of the park will remain open during the construction.

The City of Burlington is renewing the park and playground at Roly Bird Park (2203 Industrial St.) in Summer-Fall 2021.
The proposed improvements include:Construction will take place from mid-July to mid-October, weather dependent.
For safety, the playground area of the park will be closed during the construction period. The area of the closure will be fenced off. Thank you in advance for your cooperation during construction.

Sherwood Forest Park and Nelson Park Accessible Bleachers Installations and Site improvements.

Proposed WorksThe City of Burlington is replacing the old sports bleachers with new accessible style bleachers and upgrading the surrounding site at the following parks.
