Burlington Transit provides free monthly transit passes for Burlington residents, ages 13 to 64. You must be approved for Halton Region's Subsidized Passes for Low-Income Transit (SPLIT) Program. If you are 65 and over, your ride is free all day, every day when you tap your PRESTO card.

Where to get SPLIT passes
Once you are approved for the program, you can get your SPLIT pass at our Downtown Transit Terminal, 430 John St., Burlington.
Passes are available for the next month starting on the 18th of each month until the 12th of the following month. For example, you can buy your February SPLIT pass beginning on Jan. 18 up until Feb. 12. Three-month passes are also available.
