You can order transcripts and digital audio recordings of court proceedings with Halton Court Services (HCS).
Please request by email courtsupport@burlington.ca or in person at 4085 Palladium Way. Third party transcription services are not used for HCS transcript production.
If you wish to file an appeal or make a charter application, you will need three copies of the transcript of court proceedings.
To order an original transcript, please follow the steps below.
Payments, cancellation and refunds |
We require full payment for all outstanding invoices after you complete a transcript order, even if the transcript is no longer required for any reason. You must provide cancellation requests in writing by email at CourtSupport@burlington.ca, or in-person. We will provide a full refund if the order has not been processed. We make all efforts to collect overdue transcript fees, including reporting to collection agencies and the Law Society of Ontario in the case of lawyers and paralegals. |

To order a digital audio recording of court proceedings, please follow the steps below.
Windows 7 and above, and Adobe Reader 10 and above are required to listen to the court recording in audio CD format.

All orders for digital audio recordings are subject to the Ontario Court of Justice's access policies.
The presiding judicial officer may expand or restrict access to the recordings in any proceedings before them. Recordings may not be available for some proceedings unless otherwise ordered by the judicial officer.
