The AAP program is offered to residents over the age of 65 and anyone with a disability or limited mobility who need help maintaining smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. This program is for people with limited support networks or agencies available to assist.
Contact us for more information and to see if you're eligible at firedepartment@burlington.ca or at 905-637-8207, ext. 6236.
You may also be referred to the program by your doctor, a family member, friend or emergency responder.
Please inform us if you plan to move or no longer wish to participate in the program.
