The City of Burlington is constructing a leash-free area in Hidden Valley Park. The new leash-free area will be located next the Burlington Model Railway Club along Hidden Valley Road.
Construction of the leash free area is now complete and the area is open for use.

Project scope
The new leash-free area will include:
- A 0.15 hectare area fully fenced with a six foot high chain link fence
- Double gated entry/exit enclosure
- Accessible park benches
Project schedule
Construction started in October and is currently paused due to weather and site conditions. Construction will resume in the spring when weather allows.
The leash free area will remain closed until construction is complete. Signs are posted on site. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping the construction site safe during construction.
