In this phase, the City of Burlington will undertake restoration work in Tuck Creek at three different erosion site identified as 5, 6 and 7, as shown in the location map image. The project will include bank protection, minor channel realignment, profile corrections to enhance fish habitat, and measures to protect the Spruce Avenue bridge area.
As public engagement is an important part of the city projects. The City will give residents, neighbourhood businesses, community members and interested parties the chance to learn more about the project and comment at a Public Information Centre (PIC).
Once the design is complete, a Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held to share project details with residents. Information about the date and location of the PIC will be mailed to residents and also made available on the project webpage.
